Sailing

Everything in here says something about sailing – maybe, it’s the “in-thing” in New Zealand J…   My present from Lanie on new year’s day (January 2013).

2012 Year End Count Down

2012 was indeed a year when my road magnet collection flourished.  Thanks to the creation of this blogspot which paved the way in letting people know of my collection and encouraged some friends and acquaintances in contributing.

To date, there have been a total of 40 magnets collected throughout the year.  24 of which were given as presents by readers of this blog – most of whom are my officemates.

So, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have been part of my 2012 road magnet collection.  I wish you all more out of town trips in 2013.

Nakakataba ng puso ang mga ambag n’yo!!! J

Barong at Saya

These are two of the Filipino traditional costumes – barong (Tagalog) refers to an embroidered formal garment worn by males while baro’t saya, a contraction of two Tagalog words which means blouse and skirt, is a famous custome worn by women and usually referred to as saya

I got this from Papemelroti – SM Manila, Ermita, Manila last December 27, 2012.

Venetian Macao

From her recent trip abroad, Mommy Cion brought home souvenir of the world’s largest casino, The Venetian – from Macau last December 2012.

Colorful Dubai

This is such a colorful magnet.  It’s another pasalubong given by best bud, Elen, on her recent homecoming from Dubai, United Arab Emirates in December 2012.

Tsinelas ni Elen

It was the time of the year when my best bud, Elen, visits home.  And it won’t be complete without bringing home magnets for me.  This is her pasalubong from Dubai, United Arab Emirates in December 2012.

Dalagang Bukid

We were having chitchat on singlehood when Glycinea hand me over this magnet, her Christmas present from Bolinao, Pangasinan in December 2012.  It was coincidental that it resembles the red fish, dalagang-bukid – the word dalaga means maiden in English.  Hence, this magnet got its name. J

Gondolier

Before the year ends, Jats hand me over her ambag to my roadmagnet collection – a gondolier from her Macau trip in October 2012. J
