Enchanted Souvenir
I was surprised to see this at my desk last Monday. I didn’t
expect to receive one from my inaanak, Nikki, from her field trip at Enchanted Kingdom,
Sta. Rosa, Laguna last Saturday, November
17, 2012… Thanks to Mareng Beth
for remembering! ;)
Land of Kazakhs
I really felt lucky to attend the 38th
International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) Annual Conference
held in Astana, Kazakhstan last September 2012… This one reminds me so much of the land of
combined Russian-Mongolian features.
Azbuka
I found this in one of the shops along Republic Avenue during
our last day in Astana last September 2012 and I thought it was one
of the best souvenirs which will always remind me of my Eurasian experience. It
has Cyrillic script or Azbuka, the
one used in Kazakhstan. Up to now, I haven’t figured out what is
written on this slab but definitely, it speaks of the foreign experience I had.
Merlion
Banny, a.k.a. Nestor – another officemate, got this
for me from his vacation in Singapore
this November 2012.
Monday Happiness
The source of my Monday Happiness last November 5, 2012… My pasalubong from my other “ading” at the office and fellow “Chupaphips”, Aylin, who went to her hometown in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
Atlanta Cityscape
Roadmagnet paved way to letting everyone know my magnet
collection. As a consequence, friends and officemates know what to bring home
for me from their trips… This is my pasalubong
from Ms. Lark, an officemate, from Atlanta, USA, where she attended ASCD
conference this November 2012.
MIA
This magnet was named after my favorite niece, Mia, who
looks so much like the Japonesa magnet according to her mom’s comment on Instagram.
This one is from Kathy,
an officemate, who got it from her family trip to Japan last October 2012.

The Godmother
Sounds like a mafia movie, but it’s just actually the
English translation of the Filipino word Ninang…
I got this from my inaanak, Nikki, in
September 2012.
Purple Crown
This is #7 of the seven
magnets brought home by Mommy
Cion from her vacation in London, United Kingdom in December
2009.

Visita Iglesia
While gathering for my Project:
Filipiniana de Papemelroti, I saw these Philippine church magnets which are
meant to be wedding souvenirs. Hence, I
decided to have another sub-collection out of them; the Visita Iglesia.
Visita Iglesia collection features three Philippine churches
collected from Papemelroti.
