2014 Year End Count Down

Again, my heartfelt gratitude to all those who remembered to bring home magnets for me! Salamat!!!!

For 2014, there were 28 magnets added to my road magnet collection.  5 were personally collected from trips abroad and locally while 21 were given as pasalubong by friends and officemates. I was also able collect a travel magnet from a friend's wedding last year. :)

The Peak

Known locally as The Peak, Victoria Peak is the highest mountain in Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong.  We've been there three times and it was only during our visit on December 12, 2014 that I experienced riding the peak tram going downhill for the first time.  Ganoon pala yon, you are seated in going-up position when you get down.  Sobrang tarik kasi!

Anyway, this is what I got as souvenir from the peak - another street sign. ^_^

Bendi

We call it 'kalesa' in the Philippines.  They call it 'Bendi' in Indonesia - the traditional horse-drawn transportation.

This was given by Lanie in October 2014 from Jakarta, Indonesia.

HK Disneyland

I had been to Hong Kong Disneyland for three times and who knows, I might be coming back again next year.  If that would be the case then I wanted to have a souvenir that would indicate the current year for my third visit (kumbaga, that would serve as the distinction for my future visit/s).  Unfortunately, there was no magnet with 2014 or 2015 available.  So what I got instead was this magnet which features famous buildings at the Victoria Harbour.

Tsim Sha Tsui

Tsim Sha Tsui is known as the tourist ghetto in Hong Kong and for my three visits there, this has been our haven.  That is why I really looked for this magnet, which is like a street sign of the place, during our third visit last December 9-12, 2014.

San Sebastian Church

I'm quite confused to whom should I say thank you for this magnet. - Peter gave me another church magnet as Christmas present last December 2014, the Caleruega Church which I already have one.  Buti na lang, Eric was willing to trade his present kasi yon yong wala pa ako, the San Sebastian Church.  So, this one was actually his present. :)

I'll just say thank you to both of them for their generosity! :)

Thai Flag

This was actually a Christmas present from Franz Cer in December 2014 which I guess he got from his trip to Bangkok, Thailand.
